The brand claim “Vorsprung durch Technik” encapsulates the cutting-edge technology that is at the very heart of the Audi brand. Not just in the domain of sportiness, but also when it comes to a form of future-proof mobility. Audi consistently applies various efficiency measures within the framework of an all-embracing concept. As the developer of numerous innovations, we have made a lasting impact on automotive engineering.
The Audi TFSI engines offer outstanding efficiency and improved performance whilst at the same time retaining their dynamism. The 2.0 TFSI quattro in the new Audi TT Coupé, for example, has a power output of 169 kW, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
6-speed dual-clutch transmission with electrohydraulic actuation allows for shorter gear change times and gear changes with virtually no perceptive break in propulsive power. The S tronic can be manually operated using the shift paddles behind the steering wheel or the selector lever. In automatic mode, there is a choice of programmes – D (Drive) and S (Sport). Includes hill hold assist. When in “D” gear, coasting mode allows an anticipatory driving style and helps to reduce fuel consumption by automatically disengaging when the accelerator is released. It is automatically re-engaged when the footbrake or the accelerator is pressed. Can be activated in Audi drive select – efficiency mode.
